Job summary

The Salvation Army International is seeking a Truck Driver for local routes in the ARC - Adult Rehabilitation Center. The driver will operate a heavy vehicle, comply with DOT regulations, and load donations efficiently while maintaining safety and vehicle condition.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license and DOT card; CDL is preferred. High school diploma or GED is preferred with at least one year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the assigned geographical area.
• Ability to organize pickups and plan routes to save time and fuel.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English clearly.
• Preference for High school diploma or GED and 1 year heavy truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck for local routes within state/federal guidelines.
• Read and speak English to communicate with the public.
• Acquire pickup tickets and complete routes efficiently.
• Load donations in an organized manner to maximize pickups and minimize damage.
