Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert guidance at a local TurboTax office.

You will work with clients in person and virtually, helping them understand complex tax situations while connecting them to broader Intuit services such as bookkeeping and payroll. The role emphasizes community engagement, building a local client base, and delivering a seamless end-to-end TurboTax experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season with professional software (Circular 230 familiarity).
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete training and development as required by the business, training varies over time.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured for advertising.
• Interested in building a local/on‑line TurboTax presence, creating accessible tax content for the community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus for client interactions.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Serve as a community ambassador to grow a local TurboTax client base and engage networks.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships to convert transactions into long‑term client partnerships.
• Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience both in‑person and via video tools.
