Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, and software support while building a local client base and relationships within the community.

You will collaborate with a broader team to deliver end-to-end Intuit experiences, offering holistic advisory services and ongoing client engagement.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business; training requirements may change.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex tax situations.
• Grow the local customer base through outreach, referrals, and community events.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning as appropriate.
• Build lasting client relationships and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
