Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at designated TurboTax locations nationwide, delivering full-service tax return preparation and personalized tax guidance to individuals and small businesses. You'll collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to create a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• onsite 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week; hours may scale up during tax season.
• Willingness to wear Intuit uniforms and use name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise – hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – grow local client base through outreach, referrals, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem – connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships – turn transactions into long-term client partnerships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – professional, empathetic service and guidance.
