Job summary

Intuit invites experienced tax professionals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team in Columbus, GA, delivering full-service tax preparation and personalized guidance in-person at a TurboTax location. You will collaborate with a network of specialists to address complex client needs, grow your local book of business with community outreach, and provide year-round support using Intuit tools.

This on-site, nonexempt role requires 20 hours per week with potential for growth and ongoing

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required.
• Minimum 3 years preparing 30+ federal/state Form 1040s per season using professional software.
• Familiar with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services.
• Onsite in TurboTax office; 20 hours/week minimum.
• Complete required training and development.
• Willing to wear uniforms and be used in advertising.
• Build local and online social presence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business scenarios.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Grow local client base and lead community outreach initiatives.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust and recurring client engagement.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional, supportive service and clear tax guidance.
