Job summary

Intuit seeks on-site TurboTax Local Service Experts to deliver hands-on tax preparation and expert tax guidance at a local TurboTax location. You will serve in-person and virtual clients, growing your practice and building relationships within the community.

You will collaborate with a broad Intuit team to address complex scenarios, provide ongoing planning, and connect clients to additional services, while maintaining a strong customer-first mindset and a local market focus.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training.
• Must be comfortable working onsite 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex scenarios.
• Build and grow a local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and clear communication.
• Collaborate with a network of specialists to cover the full financial picture for each client.
