Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice at a local TurboTax location. You will serve in-person and virtual clients, collaborating with specialists to address personal and business tax needs while expanding the local client base.

You’ll act as a community ambassador, build relationships, and leverage Intuit tools to deliver seamless year-round support and growth for clients and the business.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with tax prep experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid returns (1040) using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, advisory with training.
• Onsite at TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week, 8:00–17:00 local time.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including complex scenarios.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem offerings like bookkeeping and payroll.
• Build long-term relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Assist with use of marketing tools and resources to drive engagement.
