Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a CHVAC Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end material flow strategies ensuring materials are available on time and at the right cost for manufacturing, distribution and customers. You will partner with site supply chain, sourcing, production, operations, engineering, quality and logistics to optimize availability, reduce shortages and improve delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, materials management, supply chain, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on supply chain experience with direct responsibility of large operations.
• Minimum 5 years' experience interacting with operations of various countries/cultures.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, reliability and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the optimization of material management related to indirect labor headcount through continuous improvement activities.
• Support the implementation of the strategic plan for business system applications and systems readiness, including tools for warehouse design, replenishment signaling, and automation engineering.
• Support cross-functional alignment related to layout and timing for material flow applications.
• Support the implementation of material flow strategy including pull systems, sequencing, and cost optimization.
• Work with plant and SBU teams to design four-wall material flow analysis and simulation to optimize cost.
• Identify cost/waste reduction opportunities through continuous improvement.
