Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to represent the company while delivering and picking up freight.

This role is based in Minnesota with Monday–Friday hours at 7:30 AM until route completion, plus 10–15 hours of overtime weekly and optional weekend OT.

Starting wage is $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits including health, dental and life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies.
