Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to represent the company while delivering and picking up freight.

This full-time position works Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM until the route is completed, with 10–15 hours of overtime expected each week and optional weekend OT. Starting wage is $20.00–$24.00 per hour based on experience; overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours. Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical issues with the vehicle.
• Load the truck to use space efficiently and prevent damage.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify pickups on shipping papers and notify management of problems.
