Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. in St. Cloud, MN, seeks a Route Driver to represent the company by delivering and picking up freight with reliability and courtesy.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to operate a manual transmission (or willingness to learn), and a high school diploma preferred. Work Monday–Friday starting 7:30 AM until the route is complete, with voluntary OT on weekends and paid OT after 40 hours. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to meet state driving requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional personal appearance as well as cleanliness of vehicle.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
