Job summary

Kendall Group is seeking a Route Driver for Newport, TN area. You will operate a Delivery van/Box Truck, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while delivering excellent customer service.

You may assist in warehouse duties when not delivering and will be expected to maintain safety and vehicle readiness. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam for a 1-year certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a Driver’s License with state licensing and a clean driving record.
• Able to pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a 1-year Card.
• Ability to use barcode scanners, printers, and standard warehouse equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs; sit for 8 hours; climb stairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Drive product to various customer locations.
• Truck loading and unloading according to established procedures.
• Review and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain daily shipping manifest.
• Perform warehouse duties and operate warehouse equipment.
• Keep delivery vehicle clean, well-maintained, and safe.
