Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Route Driver to deliver and support warehouse operations in Newport, TN. You will be the face of Kendall, providing exceptional service and building relationships with customers during deliveries.

Responsibilities include driving, loading/unloading, route optimization, and warehouse tasks, with emphasis on safety and vehicle maintenance. Entry-level position requiring a high school diploma and valid license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• DOT medical exam and 1-year card required after hire.
• Ability to operate bar code scanners and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a distribution environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Drive to customer locations and load/unload cargo.
• Review and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
• Maintain daily shipping manifest.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts.
• Follow safety procedures and keep vehicles in good condition.
• Attend meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in warehouse duties when not delivering.
