Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Associate/Backup Bin Stock Driver in New Berlin, WI. This full-time role starts at 6:00am, Monday–Friday, with a local route and home each night. You will deliver to customer sites, perform inspections, and manage stock and bin locations.

Requirements include a valid license, 21+ years old, ability to lift 85 pounds, pass a DOT physical, and US work authorization. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles and lift up to 85 pounds.
• Must pass and maintain a DOT physical.
• Basic math and basic English communication skills are required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Be the face, voice, and reputation of Viking Electric while delivering products to customer sites, shops, and businesses.
• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route.
• Transport and deliver products with care to customers.
• Unload products at customer sites and place them in designated work cells or bin locations.
• Take inventory at customer sites and create orders to replenish to min/max requirements.
• Communicate with sales associates to meet customer needs and resolve issues.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
• Pick and pack orders to replace stock as required by the customer.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for safe delivery or storage.
