Job summary

Viking Electric in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Warehouse Associate Backup Driver for 2nd shift. You will perform local box-truck deliveries, inspect vehicles, load items, and build relationships with customers.

The role requires a valid license, ability to lift up to 85 pounds, and DOT physical compliance. You’ll use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to load and unload; you’ll maintain safety and courtesy while meeting daily delivery goals, with a 1:30pm start time, Monday through

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to lift packages up to 85 pounds.
• Must pass and maintain DOT physical.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn to operate warehouse equipment (training provided).
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route.
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care.
• Unload items during deliveries.
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned.
