Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a full-time CDL driver in North Carolina to operate roll-off trucks and related equipment, collecting and transporting waste to post-collection facilities. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate route documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with at least 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and complete daily paperwork.
• Must be comfortable sitting up to 75% of the day and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Outdoor work in varying weather and high-traffic environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off trucks and ancillary equipment to collect and transport waste.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and update route sheets.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards or issues immediately.
• Represent GFL with professional appearance and customer service on every route.
• Maintain truck cab cleanliness and help optimize route efficiency.
