PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week internal assignment at a rate of $55 per hour in Texas. The RN will deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit, coordinating discharge planning and patient education with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include supervising care plans, teaching patients and families, and ensuring transitions to community resources.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required. ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Evidence of ACLS required for Charge Nurses.

Responsabilités

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and provide care including discharge planning and patient-family teaching.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and access community resources.
• Potentially perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned.
