Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week internal assignment at a rate of $60 per hour. The role requires delivering, directing and supervising patient care under the nursing process and collaborating with the care team to plan discharges and educate patients and families.

Candidates must hold an RN license in the applicable state, current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days; ACLS required for Charge Nurses.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and access community resources.
