Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week internal assignment. You will deliver and supervise patient care, participate in discharge planning, and provide family teaching for post-hospitalization under the Nursing leadership.

ACLS is required for certain roles and after 90 days for others, with benefits including growth opportunities. One year of inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN License in the state you are applying.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments is preferred.
• Two years of direct patient care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
