Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Arizona is seeking Registered Nurses for local and travel contracts in the Glendale area. You will develop care plans, collaborate with physicians and therapists, and ensure high-quality resident care in a clean, safe environment.

Active AZ RN license, acute rehab/hospital experience, flexible schedule, and proficiency with electronic charting are required. BLS is mandatory, ACLS preferred; TB test and a current fingerprint clearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• Experience as RN in acute rehabilitation hospital.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• At least 1 year hospital experience.
• Proficient in electronic charting systems.
• BLS is required; ACLS preferred.
• TB test completed within 1 year.
• Physical within 6 months.
• Fingerprint clearance current.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper resident care in a clean, safe environment.
• Develops and ensures nursing care plans with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Performs nursing diagnoses to guide care strategy.
• Collaborates with residents and healthcare team.
• Records administration of medications.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
