Job summary

Eurofins US Food, Feed, & Supplement Testing in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Local Quality Manager to support the operational and technical supervisor, ensuring quality and timelines. The role may oversee local quality specialists for delegated tasks.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining QC programs, coordinating audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance across ISO 17025 requirements. This is a full-time on-site position with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field; two years of directly related experience can substitute one full-time year of college
• Preference for Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Microbiology
• Experience with laboratory procedures, data analysis, computer operations, mathematics and technical writing, is desirable

Responsibilities

• Supports the operational and technical supervisor to meet timelines and quality measures
• Maintains equipment qualification and calibration schedules; ensures timely calibrations
• Trains staff on documents and requirements and maintains training records
• Monitors daily process controls for enumeration and pathogen testing with client samples
• Accompanies auditors during inspections and coordinates responses to findings
