Job summary

Estes Express Lines in Utah is seeking an experienced CDL-A truck driver responsible for safe transport of freight across terrain, adhering to FMCSA rules and company policies. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure cargo security.

This role requires HazMat/Tanker endorsements, clean MVR, ability to pass medical exam, road test, and work a flexible schedule, including occasional over-the-road work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• CDL Class A required per FMCSA regulations.
• Must be registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and company policies.
• Maintain records and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure safety and cargo security.
• Possess required endorsements and pass mandated medical exam and road test.
• Comply with safety rules and vehicle operation standards under various environmental conditions.
• Interact professionally with customers and dock personnel; assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Adhere to schedules, potential over-the-road assignments, and use of in-cab technology.
