Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Driver non-CDL to join its delivery team in Springfield, IL. The role drives and delivers pre-ordered products to assigned accounts on specified routes, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries and proper product rotation.

You will use a handheld or in-truck computer to process invoices, collect payments, and maintain accurate records while delivering exceptional service and maintaining DOT compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Driver's license required by state: Missouri Class E; Illinois Class C (or obtain Class C permit during pre-employment and before starting work); Iowa and Kansas Class C.
• Clean driving record within MVR guidelines.
• Prior experience using powered pallet jack preferred. Ability to obtain PIT certification upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers products to customers on assigned route. Merchandise, displays and rotates products according to company standards. Picks up company property from customer locations and collect returns.
• Utilize computer technology to create customer invoices, collect money due, and settle all customer accounts daily.
• Provides excellent customer service and meets customer's expectations through communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow-up.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures including DOT regulations.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with other departments to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
