Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Driver II to join the Long Beach, CA shipping and receiving team. The role focuses on moving materials between Rocket Lab sites and local partners, ensuring on-time production, and maintaining safety and accuracy in handling goods.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years' experience (including driving company vehicles), and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Forklift certification is a bonus and may be required over time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ years' experience, including driving company vehicles.
• Valid driver's license with no history of suspensions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security and accountability of materials and goods within 120 miles of Rocket Lab sites.
• Ensure materials meet production schedules and are shipped per plans.
• Distribute materials, parts, and supplies to Rocket Lab sites and partners.
• Lift heavy items and operate a forklift (when certified).
• Safely deliver and pick up material to and from partners and end users.
• Handle hazardous material per company procedures.
• Maintain traceability using ERP and handheld devices.
• Drive material between Rocket Lab warehouses and partners locally.
• Communicate delivery status and resolve issues promptly.
