Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is hiring a Driver II to join the shipping and receiving team. You will move materials, support production, and ensure timely deliveries within Southern California. The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ years of driving experience, and a valid license.

Forklift operation may be required and training provided where needed. The position offers path to growth, a comprehensive benefits package, and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience, with some driving company vehicles.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and finished goods within a 120-mile radius and to Rocket Lab sites.
• Ensure materials meet production schedules and are shipped per sales/marketing schedules.
• Set up and modify operating methods as necessary.
• Distribute materials, parts, supplies, and equipment to partners and Rocket Lab sites.
• Lift heavy items and operate a forklift (certified).
• Safely deliver and pick up material to and from partners and Rocket Lab warehouses.
• Handle hazardous material per procedures.
• Maintain traceability using ERP system and handheld devices.
• Drive material between partners and Rocket Lab warehouses locally.
• Track material in Rocket Lab tracking system during travel.
• Communicate delivery status of materials to stakeholders.
• Assist with urgent requests to meet production schedules and schedules.
