Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Driver for its Middle River, MD facility, joining the shipping and receiving team. The role moves materials, supports production, and requires lifting and forklift operation.

You will work with local partners across MD/VA, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain traceability using ERP systems. Eligibility includes a high school diploma and a valid driver's license.

Base pay ranges from $18.85 to $23.50 USD per hour, with comprehensive benefits and perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with no history of suspensions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security and accountability of materials within 180 miles of Rocket Lab.
• Ensure materials are available to meet production schedules and shipments.
• Establish and modify operational methods as necessary.
• Distribute materials and equipment to local partners and Rocket Lab sites.
• Lift heavy items and operate a forklift (when certified).
• Safely deliver and pick up material to/from local partners.
• Handle hazardous material per company procedures.
• Maintain traceability of materials using ERP and handheld devices.
• Drive between Rocket Lab warehouses and partners locally.
• Track materials in Rocket Lab tracking system as they travel.
• Communicate delivery status to stakeholders.
• Assist with urgent requests to meet production or shipping schedules.
• Adhere to driving laws and safety policies, and handle materials safely.
• Interact professionally with suppliers and maintain relationships.
• Address issues during pickups or deliveries promptly.
