Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to join a home-daily role with a consistent Sunday-Thursday schedule. Earn $86,400 average annual gross pay plus a $10,000 bonus in this local intermodal position. Drivers are home every day with a 10-11 hour day shift.

You will cover about 1,500 miles per week, with priority loading at CSX railyards and no NYC routes. Ramp training pays $200/day, and medical coverage begins after 30 days with holiday pay after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months verifiable CDL-A experience
• DOT Medical Card
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire
• No SAP drivers

Responsibilities

• Service local customers from the Chambersburg terminal
• Approximately 1,500 miles per week
• Priority loading and unloading at CSX railyards
• 2-5 loads per day
• Operate across four local railyards: Chambersburg, Harrisburg, and Baltimore
• No NYC routes
• Slip seating
