Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for home daily schedules and a consistent Sunday-Thursday shift. The role offers about 1,500 miles weekly with priority loading at CSX yards.

Average annual gross pay is $86,400 with a $10,000 bonus. Ramp training is provided; medical and holiday pay apply after 30 and 90 days respectively. Hazmat endorsement due within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
• HAZMAT Threat Assessment and fingerprinting costs reimbursed up to $60.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location.

Responsibilities

• Service local customers from the Chambersburg terminal.
• Approximately 1,500 miles per week.
• Priority loading and unloading at CSX railyards.
• 2-5 loads per day, depending on haul length.
• Operate across four local railyards in Chambersburg, Harrisburg, and Baltimore.
• No NYC routes.
• Plenty of year-round work available.
• Slip seating required.
