Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by developing new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships in the local market.

This role sells to local customers in person and by phone, focusing on pipeline development, community partnerships, and outbound prospecting while upholding compliance and delivering excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
