Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is hiring caregivers to support clients in The Dalles, Hood River, Wasco and surrounding areas. Open to all levels of care; training provided. Weekday and weekend shifts available for part-time schedules. Bilingual Spanish speakers are especially encouraged to apply.

Caregivers receive paid orientation and training, mileage reimbursement, and travel time pay. We value reliability and compassionate, person-centered care for our clients.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass state and national background checks.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete caregiver/HCA trainings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities and hobbies.
• Transport clients in a reliable vehicle and accompany them to appointments.
• Monitor client condition and report changes to supervisors.
