Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking caregivers to support clients in The Dalles, Hood River, Wasco and surrounding areas. We offer flexible day shifts, weekdays and weekends, with training provided and mileage reimbursement.

No experience required; we train new caregivers to deliver the level of care our clients expect. Join our award-winning team to match your availability with local needs, plus paid orientation and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules
• REQUIRED: must be able to transport clients in reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• REQUIRED: transport clients in reliable vehicle
