Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in The Dalles, OR is hiring caregivers to support clients with daily living activities, companionship, and mobility assistance. You can choose day shifts with flexible hours and be matched to local clients in Hood River and The Dalles.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules
• REQUIRED: must be able to transport clients in reliable vehicle, have WA or OR driver's license and active auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• Must be able to transport clients in a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
