Martin Concrete Construction is seeking a Local Heavy Haul CDL Driver to join our team in the Greater Atlanta area. You will safely transport heavy construction equipment and materials between facilities, active job sites, and third-party customers, ensuring on-time deliveries and strict safety compliance.

This role involves occasional overnight travel and weekend work as project demands dictate. You will report to the Logistics Manager and may earn company-sponsored certifications, contributing

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Experience transporting heavy construction equipment and oversized loads.
• Strong knowledge of load securement practices and DOT regulations.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings and DOT physicals.
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate Class A vehicles with Landoll and Lowboy trailers.
• Transport heavy equipment and oversized loads to job sites and customer locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and preventive maintenance.
• Load and unload equipment and materials as needed.
• Secure cargo using approved methods; ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate with superintendents, foremen, mechanics, and dispatch.
• Complete BOLs, PODs, logs, and daily paperwork accurately.
• Comply with DOT Hours of Service and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in safety meetings and obtain company-sponsored certifications.
