Construction Resources in Mableton, GA is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver to safely operate a heavy-load truck, secure cargo, and manage delivery paperwork. This full-time role requires a CDL A, a minimum of two years' driving experience, and the ability to travel to distribution centers across the region.

The position emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork with dispatch for efficient customer deliveries. Excellent communication and a strong safety record are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving.
• Possession of a CDL (type A) Commercial driver’s license.
• Proficient in driving manual transmission trucks.
• Capability to operate a gate lift.
• Proficiency in operating an electric pallet jack.
• Experience in handling commercial and residential deliveries.
• Ability to service all region’s distribution centers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Travel is required for this position.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy-load truck.
• Ensure all material is properly secured at the beginning of the shift and continuously monitor after each delivery.
• Ensure that all customer supporting paperwork is completed and returned at the end of each shift.
• Collect, document, and properly secure money received to ensure alignment with customer paperwork.
• Report any issues or incidents related to material damage or customer matters to dispatch.
• Perform the daily truck inspection, pre- and post-trip (DVIR).
• Seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor.
• Perform and document inspections to ensure truck and equipment are kept in good condition.
