Job summary

Tri Scapes, Inc., a leading landscape contractor in Alpharetta, GA, is hiring a Local Class A CDL Truck Driver to safely transport equipment, materials, and supplies to job sites across the Atlanta area. You will operate dump trucks, assist with loading, and ensure proper loading and unloading while following DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B or higher with a clean driving record required.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
• Concrete experience a strong plus.
• Ability to lift 50–70 lbs regularly; outdoor manual labor.
• OSHA standards and job site safety protocols familiarity.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, flexibility to assist on site.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B dump trucks in DOT-compliant manner.
• Transport materials to and from job sites and disposal facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report issues.
• Assist concrete crews during pours and site cleanup.
• Load/unload materials and small equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area on active job sites.
• Ensure loads are secured and weight limits respected.

Job Summary:

The Local Class A CDL Truck Driver is responsible for transporting company equipment and inventory, operating trucks and related equipment, and ensuring proper loading, unloading, and securement of materials.

Duties:

• Safely operate Class B dump trucks in compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
• Transport materials (soil, stone, concrete rubble, equipment, etc.) to and from job sites, staging areas, and disposal facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily; log and report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly.
• Work closely with concrete crews during pours, including chute control, wheelbarrowing, rake/shovel work, and job-site cleanup.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials, hand tools, and small equipment.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area on active job sites.
• Secure loads properly and ensure truck weight limits adhere to local and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or higher with a clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain/maintain one).
• Concrete experience (pouring, flatwork, or site prep) is a strong plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs regularly, climb in and out of equipment, and perform active manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and job site safety protocols.
• Strong work ethic, punctual, and flexible to assist where needed most on the site.
