DeLallo is seeking candidates for a Local Grocery Sales Executive. The role involves selling, ordering, merchandising, and managing products of the George DeLallo Company on a designated route for existing accounts and establishing new accounts within a specific geographic territory.

Job Description:
  • Meet and exceed sales goals
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of all George DeLallo Company products to uphold our reputation as experts in our field
  • Develop and maintain positive business relationships to grow sales in existing and new customers
  • Introduce customers to new items, displays, promotions, and merchandising ideas to increase sales
  • Sell, order, stock, and merchandise products following company policies, maintaining profit margins
  • Coordinate sales and deliveries to align with customer and company schedules
  • Maintain store shelves, manage credits, tags, pricing, product rotation, and POS materials
  • Monitor competitor activity and communicate insights to the Sales Manager
  • Execute strategies for new business opportunities and prospecting
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail food (grocery) sales
  • Proven ability to surpass sales objectives
  • Associates' Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to interpret instructions and solve problems
  • Adaptability to different personalities
  • Reliable vehicle, proof of insurance, and valid driver’s license without restrictions
  • Goal-oriented mindset
