BRT, Inc. in Parkesburg, PA is seeking a Transportation Dispatch/Router for a full-time day shift. The role coordinates deliveries, optimizes routes, and supports our driving team to keep customers informed and satisfied.

Ideal candidates are organized, quick-thinking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. After initial training there is a hybrid work option, with a rotating 12-hour day shift and strong emphasis on communication and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in Transportation or Logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations.
• Customer service experience – enjoy helping others and staying calm under pressure.
• Must be within common commuting distance of Parkesburg, PA home office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customers’ inventory levels using Lifeline.
• Coordinate all loads for timely deliveries and efficient routing.
• Ensure drivers have accurate delivery data and provide on-demand assistance.
• Send detailed emails to dispatch personnel at shift end for smooth transitions.
• Communicate updates to customers when issues arise to enable changes if needed.
• Enter orders into CSI Road software accurately.
• Collaborate with customers and team to schedule driving resources efficiently.
• Monitor status updates and load changes and take appropriate actions.
• Provide timely updates to customers, Dispatch, and Drivers via phone, email, or apps.
• Respond to all communications promptly and courteously.

BRT, Inc. is looking for a Transportation Dispatch/Router to help coordinate daily deliveries, optimize routes, support our Driving Team Members, and keep our customers informed and satisfied.

At BRT, great dispatching is about more than moving loads. It’s about communication, teamwork, sound decision-making, and making sure every delivery gets where it needs to go safely and efficiently.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Monitor customers’ inventory levels using Lifeline
• Coordinate all loads to ensure timely deliveries and efficient/effective routing
• Ensure Drivers have accurate and timely delivery data, including tank sizes, directions, loading numbers, and special equipment requirements, and provide on-demand assistance as needed
• Send detailed emails to all dispatch personnel at the end of your shift to inform others, and ensure smooth shift transitions
• Communicate effectively, in a timely manner, to customers when issues arise to keep them updated and allow them to make changes if necessary
• Effectively enter orders into “CSI. Road” software
• Coordinate and collaborate with customers and team members to schedule the BRT Driving Team efficiently
• Monitor communications for status updates and load changes, and take appropriate actions
• Communicate timely updates with customers, Dispatch, and Drivers via phone, email, or apps
• Respond to all incoming communications promptly and courteously

Compensation & Hours:

• Competitive salary dependent upon experience
• Expected hours: average of 45 to 50 hours per week
• Day Shift; 12-hour shift on a rotating schedule (hybrid after training)
