Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator in Northern California to lead preconstruction and execution of complex electrical projects. This role involves estimating, budgeting, and coordinating with leadership, clients, and field teams on high-visibility jobs.

The successful candidate will read drawings, manage procurement, oversee change orders, and drive projects from award through closeout, with a supportive, growth-oriented culture and strong backlog.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating and/or managing commercial electrical construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, distribution, lighting, and low-voltage infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid electrical estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit vendor/subcontractor pricing.
• Develop project budgets, schedules, manpower forecasts, and procurement plans.
• Manage commercial electrical projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Lead client meetings and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, and engineers.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, material procurement, and project documentation.
• Monitor project financial performance, productivity, and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate with field leadership to ensure successful project execution.
• Support Design-Build and Design-Assist delivery methods.
