GPAC is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a well-established local electrical contractor in Las Vegas, NV. The role focuses on local commercial and industrial bids, with emphasis on accurate takeoffs, bid development, and competitive pricing for regional projects.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating with Project Managers and leadership, and managing multiple estimates with strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of electrical materials, labor, and installation methods.

Responsibilities

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents.
• Complete material and labor takeoffs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop accurate and competitive project estimates.
• Prepare bids and proposals.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and opportunities.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Operations, and company leadership.
• Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines.
• Assist with transitioning awarded projects to the Project Management team.
