AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Dedicated Local Driver to handle pickup and delivery of freight within a limited area.

Qualified candidates will operate commercial motor vehicles safely and in compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining accurate shipping documents and professional relations with customers. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years or older.
• Class A Interstate Commercial Drivers' License with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• One year driving experience required.
• Be familiar with DOT regulations governing the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records required for regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with the public.
• Drive to destination in accordance with federal regulations.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for inspection.
• Hook/unhook trailers and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safety.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other related duties.
