Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A Interstate Commercial Drivers' License with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical
• Read, write, speak and understand English well
• Be familiar with proper procedures for handling hazardous materials

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles
• Check shipping papers to determine if load complies with regulations
• Maintain records for state and federal compliance
• Drive truck to required destination per federal regulations
• Hook/unhook trailers and operate landing gear
• Inspect equipment for defects and safety
• Fuel trucks and tractors
