BlueLinx Corporation is seeking a professional truck driver to join our team in Alabama. You will be responsible for loading and securing freight, delivering to customers, and maintaining compliance with DOT procedures. This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and customer service as core values.

Position requires a valid Class A CDL, a safe driving history, and at least one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. Training and a supportive environment help you grow with our fleet.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and maintain a safe driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Ability to securely strap/secure loads and perform DOT inspections.

Aufgaben

• Secure loads properly; no tarping, only strapping.
• Deliver freight accurately and handle returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logs and complete trip reports.
• Direct unloading by customers when required.

What You’ll Deliver

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required

How You’ll Deliver

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 21 years of age
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years
