Job summary

Sysco is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to handle daily routes with frequent stops and on-site unloading of products at customer locations. You will operate in a cross-dock setting, load trucks, and ensure accurate deliveries with customer signatures.

The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, strict adherence to DOT rules and Sysco safety policies, and availability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with clean driving record.
• Must read/speak English sufficiently to communicate with customers and complete reports.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift/move 40–100 lbs and handle pallets/hand trucks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily routes with frequent stops and unload products at customer sites.
• Load/unload using hand trucks and pallets, follow loading dock procedures.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures; report discrepancies.
• Operate in cross-dock model and return truck to loading dock/lot after route.
• Follow DOT regulations and Sysco safety policies; perform pre-trip inspections.
