Sysco in Dallas is seeking a delivery driver to run daily routes with frequent stops. You will load, unload, and position products using hand trucks and pallets, following the order designated by the Transportation Department Manager.

You may assist with loading trucks and other duties as assigned by supervision. Responsibilities include loading and unloading, verifying deliveries with customers, handling sign-offs, and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT rules

Qualifikationen

• One-year route delivery experience or equivalent background driving a straight truck.
• CDL preferred, may impact job responsibilities under DOT rules.
• Ability to read and speak English well to communicate with the public and complete reports.
• Must be 21 years or older with no major drug/alcohol violations in 3 years.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated storage areas.
• Verify delivery and obtain customer signatures; communicate errors/returns; perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
