Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a driver to deliver products across the Minnesota area. You will complete 10-12 stops daily, touch freight, and maintain accurate paperwork while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 60 days), a 21+ age minimum, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. You will engage with customers and internal teams to meet business objectives and grow with the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with ability to read and write in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification, and a valid CDL.
• Candidate must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement either already held or to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in last ten years.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
• Continuously learn how Linde's business operates and succeeds to help the organization grow.
