Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment in Rice, MN is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A). You will deliver products, make 10-12 stops daily, handle freight, and provide excellent customer service while recording deliveries and pickups.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, safety compliance, and building customer relationships. Must hold a valid CDL A and hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 60 days); DOT physical is required; minimum age 21. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck driving school, along with a valid Class A or B CDL.
• Age 21 years or older.
• Current hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
• No alcohol‑related convictions within the last ten years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10‑12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping order papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer goals.
• Continuously build knowledge of Linde’s business operations to support organizational growth.
