Job summary

Linde plc in Hillside, IL is seeking a Customer-Focused Truck Driver. You will deliver products to customers, making 10–12 stops daily, and you will count and record quantities, complete paperwork, and provide excellent service.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification, a Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement (or obtain within 60 days), and the ability to pass a DOT physical.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Two years of driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No recent accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in 10 years.
• Pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Ability to lift minimum 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making 10–12 stops per day, touching freight, and completing paperwork.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet goals.
• Continuously build knowledge of how Linde’s business operates to aid growth.
