Position will deliver to all types of customers including Foodservice. Drives the delivery vehicle and delivers product to the store. Responsible for ongoing rotating and stocking of product on store shelves, displays, in coolers and vending equipment. Builds small displays and sets up promotional materials such as signage and banners. Generates invoices and handles daily settlement of cash and charges. Interacts frequently with store management and receiving personnel for load acceptance. This role involves lifting and loading cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly, pushing/pulling from 40-150 pounds, and reaching, squatting, and bending during deliveries and merchandising. Unloads pallets with an electronic pallet jack or hand truck and stores products in designated backroom areas.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Deliver product and execute all promotions
2. Service all scheduled customers by the end of shift
3. Merchandise all accounts to local standards
4. Establish positive relationships with primary contacts at each account

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 21 years or older
2. Pass the DOT drug test and DOT Physical
3. Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)

Note: In California, except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and interstate statuses are accepted. Stockton accepts only non-excepted interstate.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:

1. Operating trucks requiring a valid CDL (basic driving, maneuvering in tight spaces)
2. Adhering to DOT regulations (reading documentation, maintaining medical cards)
3. Merchandising products (filling shelves, building displays, rotating stock)
4. Using equipment like pallet jacks, dock plates, load bars, and straps
5. Operating equipment such as pallet jacks, lift gates, hand trucks
6. Documenting DOT compliance (reading, understanding, maintaining documentation)

Because this role involves regular field work and interaction with the public, employment is contingent upon successful background checks and drug screening, conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
