Position will deliver to all types of customers including Foodservice. Drives the delivery vehicle and delivers product to the store. Responsible for ongoing rotating and stocking of product on store shelves, displays, in coolers, and vending equipment. Builds small displays and sets up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners. Generates invoices and handles daily settlement of cash and charges. Frequently interacts with store management and receiving personnel for load acceptance. Must lift and load cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly, and push/pull forces from 40-150 pounds occasionally. Also requires reaching, squatting, and bending during delivery and merchandising.

Unloads pallets using an electronic pallet jack or hand truck and stores products in designated backroom areas.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Deliver product and execute all promotions
2. Service scheduled customers by the end of shift
3. Merchandise accounts to local standards
4. Establish positive relationships with primary contacts at each account

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 21 years or older
2. Pass DOT drug test and physical
3. Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)

Note: In most California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and interstate statuses are accepted. In Stockton, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:

1. Operating trucks requiring a valid CDL
2. Adhering to DOT regulations
3. Merchandising products effectively
4. Using equipment like pallet jacks and load bars
5. Operating equipment such as lift gates and hand trucks
6. Documenting DOT compliance

Background checks and drug screening are required due to field work involving customer interaction. Employment is contingent upon passing these checks.
