PBNA $28.75 / hour

Position delivers large quantities of previously ordered products to high-volume stores using a tractor/trailer truck. The role involves interacting with store personnel responsible for accepting loads, unloading pallets with an electronic pallet jack, and placing products in designated areas. The driver generates invoices and handles daily settlement of cash and charges.

This role requires grasping, pushing, and pulling a pallet jack, reloading, and restacking cases weighing 20-45 pounds as needed. It often involves early start times and delivery across various weather conditions.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Deliver products and execute promotions
2. Service all scheduled customers by the end of the shift
3. Merchandise accounts to local standards (if applicable)
4. Establish positive relationships with primary contacts at each account
5. Comply with operating procedures (e.g., scan-in/scan-out, route following, safe lift gate operation)
6. Return empty shells to manufacturing or production facilities
7. Follow DOT regulations
8. Use handheld devices for order writing
9. Maintain regular, reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Pass required drug and physical tests
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (with specific regional considerations)
• Pass DOT physical and road test
• Follow DOT regulations

Helpful Experience:

• Operating trucks requiring a valid CDL
• Using equipment like pallet jacks and dock plates
• Driving in various conditions
• Understanding DOT documentation
• Transporting consumer products, including perishables
